Click the Code Search link on the gray navigation bar on the left side of the screen to access the code search database. This navigation bar will always be visible while using the NCPDP/eTAR system.

An additional window will open displaying the Code Search Database screen. Choose the search criteria and type the searchable text in the text box.

Click Search.

The code search database locates all codes, including the data for which you are searching.

A list of all codes and associated descriptions that match the search criteria are displayed.

Once you have found the correct code, use that code to complete the corresponding field in your PA.
