Not all DUR alerts can be pre-overridden.

Drug-Age, Drug-Allergy, Drug-Pregnancy, Incorrect Duration and Late Refill alerts can be pre-overridden. Same Pharmacy providers can pre-override Early Refill, Ingredient Duplication and Therapeutic Duplication alerts.

If you submit a pre-override and the claim generates additional alerts, the claim will be returned to you for an appropriate response.

If you choose NOT to override the alert in order to fill the claim, you should complete the DUR response fields with a cancellation.
